Kishida Days: Watching Italian men go by…

For fans of exiquisite fashion-hub The Sartorialist, Gentry have uncovered its Japanese twinsite…

Kishida Days

For those of you enraptured by the voyeuristic charms of the ever-popular The Sartorialist, check out this ever-so-slightly creepy Japanese site – Kishida Days. It has but one very  simple and singular remit: to capture images of Italian men, looking good. This is like a one stop style guide for anyone beguiled by Italian men's fashion.

Deceptively simple, it's rather addictive, and does make you marvel at the sheer invention and brass balls of our continental cousins, pulling off a series of lavish styles with minimum effort. Yet all the looks on offer are tinged with a traditional sense of style, grounded in the elusive reality of simply looking good.

Most impressive of all is the fact that most of the men featured are well into middle-age, proving once and for all that on the Peninsula, fashion is temporary but class is permanant.

Enjoy!
