This is the worst worst best picture list. You obviously haven’t seen many of the older best picture winners, some of which, like Broadway Melody, are just plain awful.

Gladiator is okay, but I agree, certainly not a BP. Nor Chicago. But the worst BP ever is Crash, followed by Dances With Wolves.

Worst Oscar winner to me? Hmmm…”Ordinary People” beating out “Raging Bull”? “Kramer Vs. Kramer” picked over “Apocalypse Now”? Nope, worst Oscar winner I’ve ever seen is “Out of Africa”, simply a dreadful flick. Few if any redeeming qualities. Good post, fun to think about…

Chicago, yes; but “the Gladiator and Driving Mrs. Daisy?!?! You’ve go to be kidding me. Have you ever seen Crash? It was awful! Shakespeare in Love? Terrible. Do you even know what a good movie is?

The only movie that I disagree with that is on your list is Gladiator. I don’t know. I thought it was quite good. All the other movies on your list, you are right about. They didn’t deserve to win the academy award
