Top 5: Future footballing greats

With the football season in full swing, let's take a look at the most impressive stars of the future. Who out there has that mix of flair and guile to propel themselves to the very top?
5. Toni Kroos – 17, Bayern Munich
Kroos is the most promising and exciting German player for many a year. He is dynamic, direct and already looks like the polished article. A player of this kind doesn't pop up too often in Germany, perhaps why the Bayern number 10 shirt has already been reserved for him.
4. Theo Walcott – 19, Arsenal
Arsene Wenger is coaxing Theo's talent out very astutely, so that when the big time rolls around, he'll actually be ready for it. Hopefully this will help the kid avoid what has happened to Rooney, who now has no idea how or where to play for club or country. Fast, dynamic and brilliant.
3. Bojan Krkic – 17, Barcelona
Propsering as a footballers footballer amongst some of the greatest senior players in the world – Ronaldinhio, Deco, Messi and Eto – Krkic has shown instant maturity and insisted his way into one of the most impressive line-ups in the game. Surely Spain's next great player, for sure.
2. Sebastian Giovinco – 21, Juventus
A mercurial little player in the Zola – Baggio mold, Giovinco stormed through youth football and had a brilliant loan season at Empoli last year. He is slight and needs to pile on a few pounds of heft but his natural ability puts him head and shoulders above most of the established players in Serie A.
1. Sergio Aguero – 20, Athletico Madrid
By some distance the most incredible talent in world football. He's all end-product and sublime skill. The fact that he has knocked up Maradona's daughter means that he could be forging the greatest football dynasty of all time. Not just a star of the future, but the future of the game itself, perhaps.
